Checking Your Reservation Status as a Guest

Your reservation status is essential for keeping you informed about various aspects of your booking, such as whether it's confirmed or if there are any actions required from your end, like verifying your ID or leaving a review.

To check your reservation status, you can either find the message thread with your host in your inbox or follow these steps:

  1. Go to Inbox and click or tap on "As a guest"

  2. Select the message marked as "Accepted" to view the details of your reservation.

Accepted Status

Once your booking request receives the "Accepted" status, your reservation is confirmed.

This status indicates that everything is in place for your upcoming trip! Keep an eye out for an email notification with the message "Your booking request was accepted!" – that's your confirmation, and you're all set for your journey.

Understanding Other Reservation Status Messages

There may be other status messages you encounter during your booking process. Here's a breakdown of what they mean:

Decline Status

If you come across the "Decline" status, it means your reservation request has been declined by the host.

Don't worry – if this happens, you can explore alternative options. Feel free to reach out to the host to inquire about any other available listings or initiate a new search for different accommodations.

Inquiry

When making a reservation and clicking on Request to book, you are requesting a staying for a specific listing and dates. Hosts have six (6) days to respond. During that period, your reservation status is marked as "Inquiry".

If they decline or don't respond within this timeframe (we encourage Hosts to reply within 24 hours), don't worry! You won't be charged, and you're free to explore and book alternative stays.

Expired

If the host doesn't respond to your booking request by accepting or declining it within six (6) days, the request status will change to "Expired." And again, don't worry – you won't be charged, and you're welcome to continue searching and booking other options.

Completed

Once your trip concludes, your reservation status will be updated to "Completed." You can revisit this message to review a breakdown of your stay, including dates, pricing, and fees.

Regardless of the booking method, make sure your account has valid payment information and a verified ID (some hosts may require it).

By staying updated on your reservation status, you can ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience as a Pridebnb guest.
