Welcome to the guide on setting up your payout preferences with Stripe, ensuring secure and seamless fund transfers for your earnings. Whether you're an individual or a company, Stripe offers a safe and encrypted environment for handling your bank details. In this step-by-step guide, we'll walk you through the process of entering your bank account information, verifying your identity, understanding different account types (individual and business), confirming your personal details, and finally, submitting your information securely. Step 1 - Setting Up Your Payout Preferences with Stripe

Before you can start receiving your earnings, we'll ensure that you're well-prepared for secure fund transfers. Stripe will handle the process of transferring funds to your bank account, whether you're an individual or a company. Rest assured, your bank details will remain encrypted and fully protected within Stripe's secure environment.

Account Types: Individual and Business

• Individual Type: When setting up your Stripe account, opt for an individual account unless you're operating as a registered business. Many account restrictions stem from hosts mistakenly selecting "business" when they should have chosen individual. Also, select "Individual" as your Business Type if you haven't filed business registration paperwork. No need to choose a Business Structure in this case.

• Business Type: When setting up your Account Type, opt for a business account only if your Business Type is typically "Company," based on government filing documents. Determine your Business Structure from the paperwork submitted for business registration, or seek legal or tax advice.

Step 2 - Entering Your Bank Account Information

To enable Stripe to send your money to the right place, you need to enter your bank account details. After providing this information, you'll be directed to Stripe for verification to ensure everything remains secure.

Step 3 - Verification Process with Stripe

Simply follow the on-screen instructions to provide your mobile number, address, and email.

Depending on where you reside, Stripe will request additional information identification codes such as the the last four digits of your SSN, if you are in the US. Following this, Stripe might need to send you a verification code. If it does, this code is crucial for confirming your identity and enhancing security.

Step 4 - Confirmation of Personal Details

Once Stripe has verified your personal and account information, it may request additional personal details to further fortify the security of your account.

Step 5 - Confirmation and Submission

Click "Agree & Submit," and you're good to go! To maintain the utmost security, only you will have access to and be able to update this information using the verification code sent to your phone each time. You can always visit the Payout details section to make any necessary changes.
